2048 Zen (also known as 2048 With Themes, “the App”) is designed to provide a calm, simple, and enjoyable offline puzzle experience while respecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you download, install, and play 2048 Zen.
1. Information We Collect
2048 Zen does not require you to create an account, register, or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical location.
The App stores gameplay-related preferences locally on your device, which may include:
- Current game board state and active tile positions
- High scores and current score history
- Selected visual theme (Numbers, Fruits, Cars, Gems)
- Selected board dimension (3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6)
- Audio and haptic feedback preferences
This data is stored solely in local app storage (such as AsyncStorage or local cache) and is never transmitted to external servers operated by Endurance Softwares.
2. Offline Functionality & Network Access
2048 Zen is engineered from the ground up to function entirely offline. No active internet connection is required to swipe tiles, merge values, change themes, undo moves, or track your personal best scores.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising
To keep the App free to play, the App may display non-intrusive advertisements served through trusted third-party advertising partners such as Google AdMob.
These third-party ad networks may automatically receive certain device and diagnostic identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or IP address) in accordance with Google Play Developer policies. You may reset or opt out of personalized ads via your device system settings:
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID or opt out of Ads Personalization.
- iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking > Allow Apps to Request to Track.
4. Children's Privacy
2048 Zen is a general-audience casual logic game suitable for players of all ages. The App does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Because your game progress and high scores are saved locally on your device, you maintain full control over your data at all times. You can instantly delete all stored data by clearing the App cache/data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
